This club is more than just a sports club, it is a friend’s community that has helped us all with our mental and physical health.

Who we are

GOVC was initially established in 2016 to promote the sport of volleyball in an outdoor setting. After a few years we finally saw a need for this club to become something more for the community. So, in 2021, we became an official club in Glasgow with official committee members and over 100 registered club members.

What we do

We set up outdoor volleyball sessions nearly every day, if the weather allows, in various parks around Glasgow with our main setup sessions in Glasgow Green. We focus to ensure our members feel welcome and supported within the levels of the sport. We give training to beginners and intermediate players and have competitions and friendly play for our intermediate and advanced members.

Our aims for players are inclusion, acceptance, and a safe place to play the sport you love.
